Bickford joined the Thomas coaching staff in the fall of 2010 being named the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.

The 2013 season saw a dramatic improvement as the team went 11-5 in Bickford’s third season. The 2013 Coach of the Year led Thomas to the NAC Finals for the second time in program history, while also having four members of the First Team All-Conference and two to the Second Team All-Conference.

During the 2012 campaign the Terriers went 5-7 overall while having two players named to the First Team All-Conference selections and one to the second team.

In her first season at the helm in 2011, led the Terriers to a record of 4-11 and an appearance in the North Atlantic Conference East Division Championship. Two players were also named to the All-Conference squad.  

Bickford, a 2010 graduate of New England College with a BA in Sport Management and a BA in Business Administration. While at NEC, Bickford was four year member of the Women's Lacrosse team and helped the Pilgrims to the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs four years straight and East Coast Athletic Conference playoff bid her junior season. Bickford also served as team captain her senior year at NEC.

Bickford is a native of Lebanon, Maine, where she attended Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine. Bickford was awarded the highest GPA in Sport Management at NEC, was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society entitled Chi Alpha Sigma, chaired the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and has attended several leadership conferences. While at Thomas Bickford also received her MBA.

Bickford serves as a coach representative for the NAC, a chair on the Regional All-American Committee, Regional Advisory Committee, and served as an NCAA site-rep for the 2013 NCAA DIII women’s lacrosse first-round championship.
