FARMINGTON, Maine – The Thomas College women's lacrosse team fell to the University of Maine at Farmington, 15-3, in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.
The Beavers improve to 5-8 while the Terriers drop down to 1-10.
Thomas got on the board in less than nine minutes into the first half on a goal by Amira Jones (Chicopee, Mass.). The Beavers poured on nine goals to finish the half along with one more goal by Thomas from Nikki Bradstreet (Topsham, Maine) to enter the break at 9-2.
UMF outscored Thomas 6-1 in the second half to secure the 15-3 victory.
Carly Raymond led the Beavers with four goals and four assists while Sierra Gilley and Kelly Lynch each scored three goals in the win.
Bradstreet scored a pair of goals for Thomas while Jones added a goal on four shots while leading the team with three ground balls.
Heather Bolland made 12 saves for UMF while Sydni Collier (Oakland, Maine) also made 12 stops for Thomas.
The Terriers will host Lyndon on Saturday at home for a 5:00 p.m. matchup.
