WATERVILLE, Maine --- Thomas College Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Peri West has announced the formation of a summer lacrosse league for girls in or entering middle and high school.
Games will be played on Smith and Bernatchez Fields on the campus of Thomas College each Thursday starting June 30 and ending July 28 with one hour each night devoted to middle school players (rising sixth-eighth graders) and high school players (rising ninth-12th graders). Graduated seniors are welcome to participate with the high school group.
Attempts will be made to group players from the same team together. Individual players are welcome to sign up, however, and will be assigned to a team.
Teams will play two 25-minute running halves each night.
Registration for the league is just $50 per player for the entire five-week season and covers five games, the cost of officials, insurance, a reversible jersey and turf maintenance. Please note that the cost is non-refundable and will not be prorated based upon how many games a player can attend.
Once registered, coaches/teams/individuals are responsible for their own medical kits, water and all necessary lacrosse equipment. Goggles and mouth guards MUST be worn for all games. Also, if you are not able to attend a game, please contact your coach/captain/contact at least 48 hours prior to the game so that they can notify the other team in the event of a cancellation.
If there are any questions, comments or concerns please contact Thomas College Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Peri West at firstname.lastname@example.org or 339-222-3174.
