BIDDEFORD, Maine --- Sophomore Samantha Greenlaw (Windham, Maine) netted a pair of goals as Thomas College dropped its 2016 women's lacrosse opener to the University of New England, 13-3, on the Big Blue Turf.

UNE (2-0) jumped out to the early lead just 3:27 in on an unassisted goal by Jocelyn Davee. Greenlaw drew the Terriers (0-1) even less than two minutes later with an unassisted goal at the 24:56 mark.

Natasha Nary capped the first 30 minutes with a man-up goal with 1:31 to play to give UNE a 10-1 lead at the break.

The game's tempo slowed in the second half as UNE was content to work the ball around. Davee tallied her fourth of the game at the 20:17 mark to give the Nor'easters a 10-goal lead.
