Thomas Gets #2 Seed in NAC Playoff Bracket

WHITINGHAM, VT- The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released the 2013 women's lacrosse postseason bracket and Thomas has received the two seed.

Castleton put the finishing touches on its second-straight unbeaten regular season and has earned the top seed in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The Spartans, who earned the NAC's first-ever berth to the NCAA Tournament a season ago, have earned a bye through the first round and will host the NAC semifinal and final rounds.

Thomas finished the season at 5-1 in conference play and received the other bye in the six-team tournament. Colby-Sawyer (4-2) earned the third seed and will host sixth-seeded Husson (1-5) in a first-round game Wednesday.
Fourth-seeded University of Maine at Farmington (3-3) will host New England College (2-4) in Wednesday's other first-round game.
