Women's Lacrosse Falls to Wesley, 15-10

ORLANDO, FL- The Terriers (3-2) fell to Wesley (3-3) in a non-conference women's lacrosse matchup 15-10 on Tuesday. The game was the first contest for Thomas on their spring trip in Florida.

Thomas was led by junior Miranda Tinsman (Belgrade, Maine), who had a game-high five goals and one assist. Midfielder Ceara DIBiase (Westbrook, Maine) contributed with two tallies and one helper, extending her goals streak to five games. Morgan Hutchins (Dixfield, Maine) helped on the defensive end, recording a team-leading nine groundballs, while senior Jasmine Ryan (Berwick, Maine) had a team-high three caused turnovers.

Mia Brocco led Wesley with five points on a team-high four goals while also dishing out an assist.  Jen Jacobs and Nina Cornog both scored three goals and added assists while Rylee Gould also netted four points on two goals and two assists. 

Alyssa Batty made 11 saves for the Wolverines, while Thomas' Brittany Fox stopped six Wesley shots.

The Terriers will be back in action tomorrow to end their southern swing as they take on Kean at 3pm.
