WBB: Huskies Take Down Thomas 66-54

FARMINGTON, Maine – The Thomas College women's basketball team fell to the University of Southern Maine 66-54 on Friday evening in a tournament hosted by UMaine-Farmington.

The Huskies got off to a fast start, taking the early lead and holding a 16-7 edge after the first. USM continued to roll through the second quarter, taking a 34-17 lead into the break.

Southern Maine continued to build their lead in the third, going up 50-26 heading into the fourth. Thomas was able to get their offense going in the fourth, outscoring USM 28-16 in the final period, but the Huskies moved on with the 66-54 win.

Thomas was led by Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.), who scored 17 points along with three steals. Addie Brinkman (Farmington, Maine) added 12, while Kari Stubbs (Auburn, Maine) chipped in 11.

Thomas will take on Castleton on Saturday, November 15 at 1:00 PM at UMF.
