WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced it's end of season awards for women's basketball and two Terriers have been honored. Molly Carroll (Southwest Harbor, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team, while Molly Horton (Brownington, Vt.) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Carroll averaged 7.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game in 24 games played this season. The senior scored 17 points in a 65-59 win on November 18 against the College of St. Joseph for her highest scoring output of the season.
Horton is being recognized as a member of the NAC Women's Basketball Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the basketball culture and environment, and regularly demonstrate sportsmanship and integrity that goes beyond the playing rules.
