WATERVILLE, Maine – The sixth-seeded Thomas College women's basketball team is on the road for the quarterfinal round of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Tournament on Saturday, February 16 at 3:00 PM at number three SUNY Canton.
- The Terriers (6-18 overall) enter the NAC Tournament for the first time since 2014 after a 5-9 NAC season.
- The teams split their regular season meetings, with each squad taking a win during the opening weekend of conference play on November 30 and December 1 at Thomas.
- SUNY Canton (11-13 overall) finished conference play with an 8-6 record that tied them with NVU-Lyndon for third place, with tie-breaking procedures giving the Roos the No. 3 seed in the tournament.
- The matchup may be won or lost beyond the arc, as both teams led the NAC in three-point shooting during conference play with a shooting percentage of 31.3%.
Saturday's winner will advance to the NAC Semifinal where they will play No. 2 Maine Maritime Academy at top-seeded Husson on Friday, February 22 at 7:30 PM.
