BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College women's basketball team fell to Husson 63-46 on Friday night in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game.
Husson jumped out to an early lead with a 12-2 run over the first five and a half minutes. The Eagles continued to build their lead and took a 19-7 advantage after one. Husson kept their foot on the gas in the second quarter to take a 34-18 lead into the break.
The Terriers picked it up in the third, outscoring Husson 16-13 in the period, but the Eagles kept their distance and went on to the 63-46 win.
Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.) led Thomas with 14 points and five rebounds. Molly Horton (Brownington, Vt.) added seven points while Malorie Weaver (Palermo, Maine) chipped in with six and ten rebounds.
The Terriers will host Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, February 9 in a 3:00 PM NAC game.
