BANGOR, ME – The Thomas women's basketball team dropped a North Atlantic Conference game on Saturday afternoon to Husson University by a final score of 83-48. Jordan Agger-Barnes led the Terriers, scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to record her third double-double of the season.
In the first half, the Terriers got off to a slow start, getting down 23-6 before heating up and closing the gap to seven points with two minutes to play in the half, 35-28. The Eagles would regain their double digit lead before the half, however, going into the locker room up 40-30.
Agger-Barnes had 11 points and four rebounds for the Terriers in the first half, while Katie McAllister added six points and six rebounds of her own.
Husson used a big second half to pull away for the victory, shooting over 47% to outscore the Terriers 40-18 in the half. McAllister scored seven of her 13 points in the second half, while Agger-Barnes grabbed nine rebounds in the half.
For Husson, Chandler Guerrette led the team in scoring, netting 16 points off the bench. Samira Cruz scored 15 points for the Eagles, while Stephanie Comstock tallied 12 points in the victory.
The Terriers conclude their season with a record of 3-22 overall and 2-16 in conference.
