CASTLETON, VT – The Thomas women's basketball team dropped a North Atlantic Conference matchup against Castleton Friday night by a final score of 62-21. Ashleigh Gagne led the Terriers scoring seven points on the evening.
Castleton (19-4, 15-1 NAC) got out to an early lead in the first half, going up 9-0 before Gagne made a layup to get Thomas (2-20, 1-14 NAC) on the board. Gagne scored all seven of her points in the first half, however Thomas would enter the locker room trailing 33-19.
The second half was more Castleton, as they continued to pull away. Katie McAllister pulled in four rebounds in the half while scoring two points to bring her game total to five. Jordan Agger-Barnes finished with seven rebounds in the game and Taylor Reynolds added six rebounds and two assists.
For Castleton, Meghan O'Sullivan scored 18 points while teammate Lindsay Sabo chipped in 14 points in the victory. Sabo also had eight rebounds in the game.
The Terriers will be back in action when they travel to Green Mountain College tomorrow, February 14. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
