Ian Wilson enters his second year as the Thomas College head track & field coach. Prior to taking over at Thomas, Coach Wilson was an assistant for two years at Colby College, where he coached an All-American and had two national qualifiers.
As a long-time high school coach in Maine, Coach Wilson led his teams to 25 track and field state championships, as well as three more in soccer. He coached four high school All-Americans and had athletes set state records in the following events: 100, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault and javelin.
Coach Wilson graduated from Bates College and is currently completing an MS in Kinesiology from the University of Texas.
