Terriers Take Part in the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, MA - The Thomas track and field team returned to the track at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational hosted at Harvard University this past Sunday. Freshman Josh Bockus steadily chipped away at his 400m personal record, posting a time of 55.70 seconds, winning his heat of the men's 400m.

Ibrahim Moustapher posted another strong performance in the 60m, recording a time of 7.27 seconds in the preliminaries.  The time finished just to place out of qualifying for the event final packed with top NCAA athletes and professionals.

Amanda Cotter stepped onto the track in the women's one mile, finding a comfortable stride to finish in 6:33.51, taking sixth in her heat.

Also recording seasonal bests were Nicole Sevigny in the women's long jump (3.39m) and Alexandra Cotter in the women's 60m dash (10.66).

The Terriers will return to the track on Saturday, January 31 at the Universtiy of Southern Maine.
