WATERVILLE, ME - The Thomas Track and Field program competed in their forth meet of the season at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday in the Southern Maine Invitational II.
Sophomore, Kajsa Kaufeldt, competed in several different events at USM. In the women's 55 meter dash she had a final time of 8.27s and a time of 30.23s in the 200 meter dash. The sophomore also competed in the women's long jump with a final jump of 4.26 meters.
Juniors, Jackie Hartwell and Kristi Hilton, also competed in the 200 meter dash with times of 30.97s and 34.10s respectively. Hilton also competed in the women's shot put and had a final distance of 7.55 meters.
Sophomore Sam Cook also competed in three events at the USM invitational. In the men's 600 meter run he had a final time of 1:46:77s. Cook and Mitch Ryan represented Thomas in the men's long jump and triple jump. In long jump Cook had a distance of 5.03m and Ryan at 5.09m. In triple jump, Cooks longest jump was 10.67m while Ryan's was at 11.29m.
Jasen Dickey and Cameron Abruzzese competed in the men's 800 meter run with final times of 2:25:41 minutes for Dickey and 2:34:79 minutes for Abruzzese. Thomas was also represented by Josh Devou in the 1mile run with a time of 5:41:88 minutes
This invitational concluded the indoor season for the Terriers, as they await their outdoor schedule for the spring.
