WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas College has announced the hiring of Peter Marsh as the Head Track and Field Coach as announced by Athletic Director David Roussel '93. Marsh will direct the club track and field program which will begin its inaugural season this spring.
Marsh, currently serves as the Head Indoor Track Coach at Cony High School, along with assisting the outdoor program. From 2006-10 Marsh was the Assistant Varsity Track and Field Coach at Windham High School. Marsh also has coaching experience at the club level with Patriot Pole Vault Club and helping out at University of Southern Maine Pole Vault camps.
"I am very excited to take on this new role in a developing program. The enthusiasm and excitement of the students, administration, and entire Thomas community will allow this program to- hit the ground running, states Marsh. "I look forward to building upon the Thomas reputation as a community resource, as the program itself becomes a beacon for all things track and field in Central Maine."
Marsh competed collegiately at University of Southern Maine, receiving all-conference and All-New England Honors throughout his four years.
A graduate of USM, Marsh received his Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies and went on to get a Master of Science in Special Education.
