Four Terriers Earn All-NAC Softball Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced their All-Conference teams and four Thomas softball players have been honored.

Senior Korrie Laren (Blackstone Mass.) was named to the first team while sophomores Lexi Colpack (Franklin, N.H.), Sydney LeBourveau (Jericho, Vt.), and Katie Taylor (Lebanon, Maine) were named to the second team.

Laren appeared in all 35 games for the Terriers this season.  In conference action, she finished with a .308 (12-for-39) average at the plate and a .386 on-base percentage.  The senior knocked in eight RBI, hit two doubles, and stole three bases.  She also completed a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at first base in NAC play.

Colpack, who was also named to the All-Tournament Team, also started in all 35 games this season.  The reigning NAC Rookie of the Year batted .289 (13-for-45) in league play.  She added six RBI, 13 runs, and only struck out twice in 49 plate appearances.  Colplack also led the NAC in stolen bases with 23 overall.

LeBourveau was called on to carry the load on the mound and contribute at the plate for the Terriers this season.  The sophomore logged 47.1 innings with a 4-3 record in the conference.  She finished with a 2.07 ERA and an opponent batting average of .271.  At the dish, she batted .313 throughout the season and brought it 14 runs.  LeBourveau was named NAC Tournament MVP following the Terriers championship run.
