Colby Takes Crosstown Rivalry

Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College softball team dropped an 8-0 non-conference decision to Elm City rival Colby Thursday afternoon at Crafts Field.

With the loss the Terriers fall to 12-21-1 (9-6-1 NAC) on the season, while the home standing Mules improve to 8-16 overall.

Colby's Lauren Becker threw a complete game two-hit shutout for the Mules, while Thomas' Sara Pavento shoulders the loss for the Terriers with three innings at the mound. 

First year Sara Moynihan had both hits for Thomas.

The Terriers finish up the regular season with a non-conference doubleheader with the Bobcats of Bates on Sunday.
