Softball Gets Picked Second

Whitingham, Vt. –  The Thomas College softball team has been picked second in the North Atlantic Conference Preseason Coach's Poll as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.

The Terriers received 68 votes and sit behind defending champ Husson who received 81 points and all nine first place votes. The University of Maine at Farmington, Castleton State, and Maine Maritime Academy round out the top five in the poll.

The 2011 Thomas squad finished the year up at 19-15 and finished second in the NAC regular season with a record of  12-2.
