Waterville, Maine -- The Thomas College Terriers (15-9, 9-1 NAC) faced the Green Mountain Eagles (3-11, 0-6 NAC) in a double header today. The Terriers won game one 11-1 in five innings and won game two 14-0 in five innings.

In the first game, the Terriers pitcher Sara Pavento threw a no hitter, allowing an unearned run, while striking out three.

The Terriers scored first when Lindsay Fry led off with a home run in the bottom of the first inning. Thomas scored again in the bottom of the second when Lauren Hachey got a RBI single.

The Terriers pulled away in the bottom of the third when they scored nine runs to make the score 11-0. Green Mountain scored their only run of the afternoon when Emma Lord reached second base on an error then scored on an RBI groundout by Jessica Johnson.

The Terriers' offense was led by Hachey who went 2-2 with three RBIs; Fry went 1-1 with a homerun, two walks and Samantha Moore who went 1-2 with two RBIs.

In the second game, the Terriers Jordan Kennedy pitched a complete game shutout, only allowing one hit while striking out eight.  Chanleigh Casey got the lone hit for Green Mountain as the Terriers scored 14 runs on 17 hits.

Thomas was led by Sarah Estes who went 3-3 with two RBIs, Hachey and Danielle Breault both went 2-3 from the plate with two RBIs and Kelsey Crowe went 2-3 with a RBI.

Thomas will be back in action Wednesday April 20, as the Terriers host the University of Maine at Farmington. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
