Waterville, Maine – Three members of the Thomas College Softball team have been named to the North Atlantic Conference All Conference Team. Senior center fielder Mallorie Blakney has been named to the First Team All-Conference along with first year short stop Lindsey Fry. Sophomore catcher Samantha Moore has been named to the Second Team All-Conference, and Terriers Head Coach Terry Parlin picked up honors as he was named NAC Softball Coach of the Year.
Bangor, ME – After watching Husson University advance over the Thomas College Terriers (19-15, 12-2 NAC) in the 9th inning of their game that resumed this morning after being suspended last night due to darkness, the University of Maine at Farmington came up and beat the Terriers as well, winning 8-6 and advancing to the NAC Championship.
Bangor, Maine -The Husson Eagles earned an extra inning 6-5 victory over the Terriers of Thomas College. The game which began yesterday was suspended following the eighth inning due to darkness. In the bottom of the ninth inning, a day later, Husson’s Kody Lyon scored following an error to claim the 6-5 win.
Bangor, ME – The Terriers of Thomas College held off a late rally by Maine Maritime Academy to pick up the 4-3 victory and advance out of the first round of the NAC Playoffs at Husson University’s O’Keefe field. Thomas put up 3 runs in the bottom of the third, and only had to add one more throughout the rest of the game to secure the win.
Bangor, Maine - Game four of the North Atlantic Conference softball championship ground to a suspension of play after the eighth inning due to darkness. With Husson and Thomas College knotted at 5-5, the teams will resume play on Saturday, April 29 at 12:00 pm in the top of the ninth inning.
WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College softball team defeated Thomas College (18-13, 12-2 NAC) 10-1 on Wednesday in a game shortened to six innings because of the eight-run rule at Colby. The Mules pitcher Lauren Becker was able to shut down the Terriers offense by pitching complete game and only allowing four hits.
Lewiston, Maine – The Thomas College Softball team (18-12, 12-2 NAC) was swept today by the Bates Bobcats (10-10) in a non-conference double header. The Terriers were shut out in both games; the Bobcats took the first game 2-0 and closed out the sweep with a 9-0 win in the night cap.
Bangor, Maine – The Thomas College Softball team (18-10, 12-2 NAC) split with the Husson University Eagles (15-15, 8-2 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference doubleheader yesterday to close out their NAC regular schedule. The Eagles won the first game 8-2, but the Terriers bounced back to take the night cap 6-3.
Waterville, Maine -- The Thomas College Terriers (15-9, 9-1 NAC) faced the Farmington Beavers (3-11, 0-6 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference double header today. In the first game the Terriers overcame a four run deficit in the first inning to win 6-5. In the second game, the Terriers got a strong pitching performance from junior Jordan Kennedy as she shut out the Beavers in a 5-0 win.
Waterville, Maine – Thomas junior Sara Pavento has been named North Atlantic Conference Pitcher of Week, for her performance this past week. In 19 innings of work Pavento, gave up 16 hits, 11runs, eight earned runs, four walks, and one home run. Pavento racked up nine strike outs this week and also threw a no hitter vs. Green Mountain on Saturday.
Waterville, Maine -- The Thomas College Terriers (15-9, 9-1 NAC) faced the Green Mountain Eagles (3-11, 0-6 NAC) in a double header today. The Terriers won game one 11-1 in five innings and won game two 14-0 in five innings.

Brunswick, Maine -- The Thomas College softball team (11-9, 5-1 NAC) faced Bowdoin College (13-13, 4-2 NESCAC) in a double header yesterday. The Terriers loss game one 6-2 and loss game two 5-3 after winning four straight coming into yesterday’s games.
Eliot, Maine -- The Thomas College softball team (11-7, 5-1 NAC) played both Johnson St. (1-13, 0-4 NAC) and Lyndon (5-7, 1-5 NAC) over the weekend and won both games against each team. The Terriers are now in second place in the North Atlantic Conference behind Husson (9-10, 4-0 NAC).
Castine, Maine - The Thomas College Terriers (7-7, 1-1 NAC) and the Maine Maritime Academy Lady Mariners (7-2, 1-1 NAC) split a pair of North Atlantic Conference games on Tuesday at Ritchie Field. Thomas won the opener 8-6 in extra innings while MMA captured the nightcap 4-3.
Buzzards Bay, Mass. - Senior Sarah Estes rapped out a pair of hits and drove in five runs to lift Thomas (6-6, 0-0 NAC)to a sweep of a non-league college softball doubleheader from Massachusetts Maritime (0-3) Sunday afternoon by scores of 11-0 in the opener and 12-3 in the nightcap in games played at Alison Rollins Field.
Orlando, Fla. – The Thomas College Softball team (4-6, 0-0 NAC) ended their spring trip with a pair off losses on Friday. The Terriers fell to Rutgers-Camden 6-3 and then fell to Mt. St. Mary’s (N.Y.) 8-2. The Terriers ended their trip to Disney’s Wide World of Sports with a record of 4-6.
Orlando, Fla. – The Thomas College Softball team (4-4, 0-0 NAC) were unable to muster up a win on Wednesday. After a rain delay the Terriers faced the Blue Knights of Mt. St. Mary’s (N.Y.); the Blue Knights were able to get by Thomas 6-2.
Waterville, Maine - On Thursday February 17th the North Atlantic Conference announced the 2011 Pre-Season poll for softball. The Terriers are positioned 3rd tied with Castleton, behind defending champions Husson and runner-up Maine Maritime.

The Terriers will kick off action on March 6 against Penn St – Hazleton at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. For their trip, Thomas has 11 games lined up in Florida against teams from all over the East Coast.

Waterville, Maine -- On Monday December 13th, student athletes from Thomas College will participate in the Christmas Program at Maine Children's Home, which provides Christmas gifts for 1,500 needy children throughout the state on Maine. The Thomas athletes will help load and unload trucks to bring donated toys to the Waterville Armory and the Augusta Armory.
