BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Division III New England Regional, hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday. The men finished 36th of 58 teams, while the women came in 57th. The men's team finished first among North Atlantic Conference (NAC) teams in the race.
Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) recorded his first top-100 NCAA Regional finish, coming in 88th in a field of nearly 400 runners with a time of 26:50.10 in the 8k race. Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine) was next across the line for Thomas, coming in 187th, followed by Alister Piccini(Winslow, Maine) in 194th. Dillon Sullivan (New Gloucester, Maine) and Harrison Mosher (China, Maine) rounded out the top-five for Thomas, coming in 364th and 338th.
Olivia Wallace (Jonesboro, Maine) was the top finisher for the women, coming in 376th. She was followed by Natalie Corrigan (Oakland, Maine) in 384th and Cassidy Pinkham (Poland, Maine) in 392nd. Brooklyn LeClair (Waterville, Maine) and Rebecca Kennett (Freeport, Maine) rounded out the field for Thomas.
