XC: Thomas Competes in Runnin' Monks Invitational

STANDISH, Maine – The Thomas College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday at Saint Joseph's College. The men finished 6th out of nine teams, while the women finished 11th.

Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) picked up his fourth top-two finish of the year, coming in second place with a time of 28:11.1 in the 8k race. Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine) came in tenth with a 29:33.6 time. Alister Piccini (Winslow, Maine) took 31st, while Dillon Sullivan (New Gloucester, Maine) and Harrison Mosher (China, Maine) finished 43rd and 47th, respectively.

Olivia Wallace (Jonesboro, Maine) came in 61st for the women, with Natalie Corrigan (Oakland, Maine) following in 63rd. Brooklyn LeClair (Waterville, Maine), Cassidy Pinkham (Poland, Maine) and Rebecca Kennett(Freeport, Maine) rounded out the Thomas five.


The Terriers will host the Thomas Invitational on Friday, October 19.
