XC: Thomas Competes in Maine State Championship

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Maine State Championship on Saturday, with the men finishing  14th and the women finishing 18th.

Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) was first across the line for Thomas, finishing the 8k race in 26:37.1 for 18th place. He was followed by Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine), who came in 106th, and Alister Piccini (Winslow, Maine), who came in 122nd. Dillon Sullivan (New Gloucester, Maine) and Harrison Mosher (China, Maine) finished out the top-five for Thomas.

Natalie Corrigan (Oakland, Maine) was Thomas' best finisher on the women's side, coming in 232nd, right in front of Olivia Wallace (Jonesboro, Maine). Brooklyn LeClair (Waterville, Maine) was next for Thomas, followed by Cassidy Pinkham (Poland, Maine) and Rebecca Kennett (Freeport, Maine).

Thomas will run in the Monks Invitational, hosted by Saint Joseph's (Maine) on Saturday, October 6.
