Men's Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA Regionals

WESTFIELD, MA – The Thomas College men's cross country team finished 46th out of 56 teams at the NCAA Regional Championships at Stanley Park on Saturday.

The 8k event featuring 384 runners was the final event for the Terriers as they wrap up their 2016 season.

Freshman Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, NH / Merrimack) crossed the line in the 145th position with a time of 27:21.  Senior Nick Kopf (Hampden, Maine / Hampden Academy) finished the race in 221st at 28:29 and freshman Billy Chambers (Waterville, Maine / Waterville) had a 313th place run (30:23).

Aron MacLean (Farfield, Maine / Lawrence) finished 318th (30:30), Tito Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine / Fort Kent) 335th (31:10), Sam Traynor (North Billerica, Mass. / Tewksbury) 340th (31:25), and Forrest Labbe (Sidney, Maine / Messalonskee) 348th (31:54) to round out the team scores.
