JOHNSON, VT – The Thomas College men's cross country team finished fourth out of eleven teams at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon at Johnson State.
The Chargers from Colby-Sawyer won the NAC Championship with five runners inside the top-10, the University of Maine at Farmington was second, and Castleton University completed the top-three.
Freshman Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, NH / Merrimack) was the first Terrier to cross the finish line in 9th place at 28:02. He was followed by senior Nick Kopf (Hampden, Maine / Hampden) in 19th (29:04), freshman Billy Chambers (Waterville, Maine / Waterville) who finished 31st (29:59), sophomore Tito Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine / Fort Kent) in 38th (30:42), and senior Aron MacLean (Fairfield, Maine / Lawrence) in 40th (30:48).
The remaining Terrier finishers were Sam Traynor 47th (31:23), Forrest Labbe 57th (32:32), Dillon Sullivan 63rd (33:45), Richie Drown 64th (33:48), Cole Barney 86th (36:46), Josh Devou 89th (37:07), and Jordan Gibson 97th (40:38).
In their next event, the Terriers will run in the NCAA New England Regional Championships on Saturday, November 12.
