Terriers Run in Colby Invitational

WATERVILLE, ME – The Thomas College men's cross country team participated in the Colby Invitational on Saturday morning which consisted of three different coed races.

The Terriers competed in the 6K event and finished in five of the top-10 positions.  Freshman Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, NH / Merrimack) crossed the line in first place with a time of 21:01 while teammate Nick Kopf (Hampden, Maine / Hampden Academy) finished third at 22:19.

The other top-ten finishers were Aron MacLean (Fairfield, Maine / Lawrence) in 7th (23:33), Sam Traynor (North Bllerica, Mass. / Tewksbury) 8th (24:14), and Forrest Labbe (Sidney, Maine / Messalonskee) 9th (25:09).  Dillon Sullivan (New Gloucester, Maine / Gray-New Gloucester) finished just outside the top-10 in 11th (25:45), Cole Barney (Barre, Vt. / Northfield) 17th (28:01), Josh Devou (Levant, Maine / Hermon) 21st (28:48), and Jordan Gibson (Marietta, Georgia / Alan C. Pope High School) 28th (30:10).

The Terriers next event will be on Saturday, October 8, as they compete in the Saint Joseph's Runnin' Monks Invitational.
