WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College men's tennis team earned the number one seed in the NEAC/NAC East Division Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, April 27 at The Edge in Essex Junction, Vt. The Terriers will take on No. 4 Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in the semifinal round at 9:00 AM.
- The Terriers (11-4 overall, 4-0 NAC) earned the top seed in the conference tournament for the first time since 2005, where they went on to win the only NAC Championship in program history.
- The teams met twice in the regular season, with Thomas taking 9-0 victories in both matches.
- NVU-Lyndon earned their spot in the tournament with a 5-4 victory over NVU-Johnson in their regular-season finale on April 20.
The winner of Saturday morning's match will go on to face the winner of the other semifinal match between No. 2 MCLA and No. 3 SUNY Delhi. The Championship Match will take place at approximately 3:30 PM that day. The NEAC/NAC East Division Champion will go on to face the NEAC/NAC West Division Champion in a crossover championship match on May 5 at the Tri-City Tennis Club in Latham, N.Y.
