WALPOLE, Mass. – The Thomas College men's tennis team edged Curry College 5-4 in their final regular season match on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers split doubles to go up 2-1. Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine) and Kaleb Payson (Lamoine, Maine) took No. 1 8-5, while Christo Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine) and Jose Afonso (Tenerife, Spain) won No. 3 by the same score.

The bottom half of the lineup came through for the Terriers, taking fourth through sixth singles while the Colonels won the top three to give Thomas the 5-4 edge. Yontz Sutton (Hamilton, Bermuda) won 7-6, 6-1 at No. 4, while Naranja and Afonso each took three set victories at No. 5 and 6.

Thomas will await final seeding for the North Atlantic Conference tournament, which will take place on Saturday April, 27 at The Edge in Essex Junction, Vt.
