WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over SUNY Delhi in a non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon at the Harold Alfond Athletic Center.
The Terriers winning streak moves to seven games at 10-3 while the Broncos fall to 1-5.
Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine) and Zachary Disch (Waterville, Maine) eased to an 8-1 win on the No. 1 line in doubles action. The second pair of Ross Munn (Brunswick, Maine) and Jared Waterhouse (Dayton, Maine) along with the third pair of Kaleb Payson (Lamoine, Maine) and Christo Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine) both earned an 8-0 win.
Chasse made quick work in the No. 1 flight with a 6-1, 6-1 victory, followed by Munn taking the number two line 6-0, 6-2. Disch and Waterhouse each won their respective singles matchups 6-2, 6-0 while Payson and Naranja each won 6-1, 6-0.
The Terriers will host the defending North Atlantic Conference Champions in Colby-Sawyer on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m.
