WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Thursday afternoon at the Alfond Athletic Center.
The Terriers earned 8-0 victories in all three doubles matchups with Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine) and Zachary Disch (Waterville, Maine) on the one line, Ross Munn (Brunswick, Maine) and Jared Waterhouse (Dayton, Maine) in the No. 2 flight, and Kaleb Payson (Lamoine, Maine) and Christo Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine) in threes.
Thomas also won all six matchups in singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score. With his singles victory, Disch now holds the Thomas men's tennis program record with 38 victories.
The Terriers will begin their conference schedule on Saturday, March 31 as they host Castleton.
