JOHNSON, VT - Thomas College men's tennis continued its dominance in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC), defeating Johnson State College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon to conclude their regular season conference play. The Terriers imorove to 6-4 overall, and end NAC play with a 5-1 record.
Thomas began the match with three wins in doubles play. Eric Morin and Tyler Small won 8-1 in #1 doubles, then Malcolm Marshall alongside Caleb Mora took second doubles 8-2. In the third doubles match Jonte Roussel and Federico Trujillo won 8-3.
The Terriers continue their strong play in singles, winning all four matches along the way. Sall swept the top match 6-0, 6-0, while Morin won #2 singles 6-0, 6-1, with Marshall taking the third singles match with the same score. The fourth singles match was a Terrier victory by Mora at 7-6, 6-3, while Roussel and Trujillo finished out the match at five and six, winning 6-1, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-1 respectively.
Thomas will conclude their regular season on Monday as they travel to Rhode Island College for a non-conference tilt that is rescheduled from earlier in the year.
