WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas College (5-4, 4-1 NAC) was able to sweep all of their matches in a 9-0 defeat over Lyndon State College in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's tennis tilt on Sunday afternoon.
In doubles play Thomas received an 8-3 win from Tyler Small and Eric Morin, then in #2 doubles Malcolm Marshall and Caleb Mora took down the Hornets 8-3, with Jonte Roussel and Federico Trujillo defeating Chas Legge and Josh Bacon 8-6.
During singles play Small swept John Corey 6-0, 6-0, with Morin taking down Trevor Updike 6-2 and 6-1. Marsall defeated Tyler Hall 6-0, 6-2 in #3 singles, with Mora battling Legge to a 7-6, 4-7, 6-0 victory. Roussel and Trujillo rounded out singles play with wins as well in the fifth and sixth spot respectively.
Thomas, who currently is riding a four match conference win streak, will travel to Johnson State next Saturday to wrap up the regular season conference schedule.
