PITTSFIELD, MA - Thomas College men's tennis team picked up their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory of the season, defeating Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Thomas began doubles play with victories in #1 doubles, 8-1 with Eric Morin and Tyler Small. In two doubles Malcolm Marshall and Caleb Mora defeated their counterparts 8-2, while Jonte Roussel and Federico Trujillo took down the MCLA pair 8-2.
The Terriers continued their success in singles play, winning all six matches. Small won #1 singles 6-2, 6-0, while Morin glided to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the two spot. Marshall won the third singles match 6-2, 6-0, while Mora, Roussel, and Trujillo each picked up wins in the fourth, fifth, and sixth spot respectively.
The Red and Black will be back in action tomorrow as they travel to Green Mountain College tomorrow for an 11:30 PM match time.
