Thomas Falls to Crosstown Rival Colby in Season Opener

WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas College was defeated by crosstown foe Colby College, 8-1 in their season opening men's tennis match on Saturday afternoon.

The Mules took all three doubles matches, with the Thomas doubles one of Eric Morin and Tyler Small battling to win two sets, but ultimately falling 8-2.

In singles play Small was defeated 6-0, 6-1 in the number one spot, while Morin fell 6-3, 6-1. Jonte Roussel was defeated 6-0, 6-1, while Malcolm Marshall lost 6-1, 6-1. Caleb Mora took a walk-over in the six spot, giving the Red and Black their lone point in the match.

The Terriers are back in action on Wednesday as they host University of Southern Maine at 1:00pm.
