Terriers Routed by USM, 9-0

GORHAM, ME- Thomas men's tennis was unable to even out their record against non-conference opponent University of Southern Maine on the year, falling to them 9-0 on Tuesday evening at Costello Courts. The Terriers fall to 4-5 on the year, while USM improves to 4-4.

The Terriers gave the victors a strong battle, despite playing without some key members of their squad. Jonte Roussel (Brockton, Mass.) was the closest to victory on away side, falling 6-3, 6-4 in number five singles. Kade Strout (Richmond, Maine), playing in his first collegiate match, fell 6-3, 6-3 in number six singles.

Thomas will host Green Mountain in a crucial conference match on Saturday at 1pm.
