WATERVILLE, ME- The Terriers men's tennis squad picked up their first victory of the season, defeating Lyndon State 7-2 on Saturday evening at the Harold Alfond Athletic Center. The Terriers improve to 1-2, while the Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season.
Eric Morin (Lewiston, Maine) and Joseph Greco (Greene, Maine) were both able to pick up wins in singles and doubles to help propel Thomas to victory. Caleb Mora (Surry, Maine), Tyler Small (Surry, Maine), and Evan Boudreau (Lamoine, Maine) also picked up wins in singles, while Gershom Renee (Hartford, Maine) and Dakota Duplissie (Hampden, Maine) also got the win playing number three singles.
The two Hornet wins came from Chas Legge in singles, while Tyler Hall and Michael Howard picked up a win in doubles.
The Terriers will return to the court tomorrow for their first conference contest of the season versus MCLA at noontime.
