  • Cliff Named First Team All-NAC

    Waterville, Maine – Thomas College senior Jeremy Cliff has been named to the First Team All North Atlantic, for his performance in singles play this spring. Cliff finished the 2011 season with a record of 7-3 in singles play and went 6-4 in doubles. Cliff won seven strait matches before dropping his final three.
  • Thomas Downed by Castleton

    Castleton, Vt.- The Thomas College tennis team was downed by Castleton 9-0 in the North Atlantic Conference East Semi-Finals.
  • Lyndon State downs Thomas

    Lyndonville, Vermont – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (2-8, 2-6) lost to the Hornets of Lyndon State (2-3, 2-2) 8-1 in a North Atlantic Conference match. The Hornets swept all three doubles points from the Terriers and lost 5-1 in singles action.
  • Thomas downed by Johnston State

    Johnson, Vermont – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (2-8, 2-6) was downed by Johnson State Badgers (3-3, 3-1) in a North Atlantic Conference match 8-1. The Badgers swept all three doubles points from the Terriers and went 5-1 in singles. Thomas senior Andrew Folan scored the lone point for the Terriers at the fourth singles defeating Ben Algar of Johnston State 6-4, 6-2.
  • Southern Maine Downs Men’s Tennis

    Gorham, Maine – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (2-6, 2-4) was downed by the Huskies of Southern Maine (5-3) yesterday in a non-conference match-up, 8-1. The Huskies swept all three doubles points from the Terriers and headed into singles action with a 3-0 lead.

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (2-4, 2-4 NAC) won 6 -3 over the visiting g Lyndon Hornets (0-2, 0-2 NAC) yesterday. Senior Jeremy Cliff remains undefeated on the season in singles play.

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (1-5, 1-4 NAC) were unable to capitalize off of two doubles victories as the visiting Spartans of Castleton State (9-1, 5-0 NAC) got by the Terriers 5-4. Senior Jeremy Cliff remains undefeated on the season in singles play.
  • Huskies Defeat Men’s Tennis

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (1-3, 1-2 NAC) fell on non – conference play this afternoon to the Southern Maine Huskies (3-2) 6-3. Jeremy Cliff and Andre Giguere both earned victories in singles and teamed up to provide the Terriers with their only victory in doubles. Cliff remains undefeated in singles action with his 5th win of the season.
  • Castleton Wins NAC Dual Match Over Thomas, 8-1

    Castleton, Vt. – The Thomas College men's tennis team (1-3, 1-3 NAC) fell 8-1 to Castleton (8-1, 4-0 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference dual match. Jeremy Cliff was the only Terrier to win in their singles match as he defeated Kevin Eisenberg 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
  • Green Mountain Wins Second Time Around

    Rutland, Vt. – The first time the Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (1-2, 1-2 NAC) met up with the Eagles of Green Mountain (1-3, 1-2 NAC), the Terrier were able to capture a 6-3 victory. On Saturday the Eagles were able to avenge their season opening loss to the Terriers with a 5-4 victory.
  • Johnson Prevails Over Men's Tennis

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College Men’s Tennis team (1-1, 1-1 NAC) fell today 6-3 to visiting Johnson State (1-1, 1-1 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference dual match. The Terriers were led by junior Jeremy Cliff and senior Andre Giguere who both won their singles match up’s and paired up to take a win in doubles .
  • Men’s Tennis Opens Season with Win, 6-3

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas Men’s Tennis team (1-0, 0-0 NAC) opened up their 2011 season this past Sunday with a 6-3 win over North Atlantic Conference foe, Green Mountain (0-1, 0-1 NAC). In singles competition, the Terriers and Eagles split the matches 3-3. In doubles, Thomas was able to win all three games to defeat Green Mountain.
