MSOC: Walker's Goal Lifts Thomas to Win in NAC Opener

CANTON, N.Y. – The Thomas College men's soccer team defeated SUNY Canton in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers picked up their goal in the 13th minute, when Drew Parsons (Farmington, Maine) made a slick move around a defender and slid the ball to MacQuille Walker (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) who fired off a quick shot that beat the diving Canton goaltender to the low-right to give Thomas the 1-0 edge.

Jonathan LeClair (Belmont, N.H.) earned his first career win and solo shutout, making one save. Tyler Petersen took the loss for SUNY Canton, making four saves.

Thomas will visit St. Joe's on Wednesday, September 18 for a 7:00 PM contest.
