MSOC: Five Terriers Earn NAC Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released its end of season awards for men's soccer and five Terriers have been honored. Kyle Patterson (Gorham, Maine) was named Rookie of the Year and to the All-Conference Second Team, Adam LaBrie (Yarmouth, Maine), Justin Bell (Hamilton Parish, Bermunda) and Benjamin Vigue (Yarmouth, Maine) were named the All-Conference First Team and Jonathan Dutka (Durham, N.H.) was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Sportsmanship Team.

Patterson notched four goals and added five assists for 13 points during his rookie campaign, playing in 16 games and starting 13. LaBrie started in 15 of 16 games this season and totaled 13 points with a team-leading six goals and an assist. Bell played in 15 games this season, starting 10 and registering four goals and three assists for 11 points. Vigue was an anchor on the Thomas defense, starting in 12 games and leading the Terriers to allow just 4.5 shots on goal per game. Dutka started all 16 games in net for the Terriers, recording a .95 GAA and .812 SV% while notching seven shutouts, four of which were individual.

Dutka is also being recognized as a member of the Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the soccer culture and environment, and clearly demonstrate sportsmanship and integrity.
