Dowling and Sampson Represent Bermuda at Caribbean U-20 World Cup

ST. JOHN'S ANTIGUA – Thomas College men's soccer freshmen defenders Diondre Dowling (Southampton, Bermuda / Berkeley Institute) and Rai Sampson (Pembroke, Bermuda / Mt. Verde Academy) are currently representing the Bermuda U-20 National Team at the Caribbean World Cup in Antigua. 

Both Terriers in are in the starting line up on defense as they have helped their country to a 1-1-1 record in three games, advancing to the semifinals that will be held this weekend.  Bermuda upset St. Kitts and Nevis 3-1, tied Curacao 1-1, and dropped a 3-2 match to the host team Antigua and Barbuda.

For the Terriers this season, Dowling and Sampson have started and played in 14 games, combining for ten points.  The two players will be welcomed back to Thomas as the Terriers look to make a deep postseason run.
