Sheridan rejoined the Thomas coaching staff in the summer of 2014 as the head men's lacrosse coach, previously serving in the same role from 2004-2010.

The first head coach in Thomas men’s lacrosse history, Sheridan amassed a program-high 22 victories in the six year span, while leading the program to its first winning season in 2008 with a 7-6 record, and being named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year.

Sheridan served as the head men’s lacrosse coach at the University of Maine at Farmington from 2012-2013. Over the two years Sheridan led the Beavers to two consecutive 4-7 (4-4 NAC) records, which matched the program’s single-season wins record each season.

Since 1995, Sheridan has held the position of Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse coach at Messalonskee High School in Oakland where he has led the team to four appearances in the Eastern Maine Class A Championship game in the years 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010. He also guided the Eagles to two Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference (KVAC) Class A Championships in the years 2005 and 2011.

Sheridan received KVAC Coach of the Year honors in 2005, and the Waterville Morning Sentinel Coach of the Year honors in 2005, 2010, and 2011.

A graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Sheridan received a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Health Education.
