MLAX: Terriers Drop NAC Opener to SUNY Canton

CANTON, N.Y. – The Thomas College men's lacrosse team fell to SUNY Canton 25-3 in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener on Saturday afternoon.

Johnathan Wilcox (Palmyra, Maine) picked up the first two goals of the game for Thomas, with his first tally coming late in the second period off a feed from Jack Gallagher (Camden, Maine). Daniel MacWhinnie (Lanesborough, Mass.) tucked his second of the season late in the fourth as SUNY Canon moved on to the 25-3 win.

Damon Westhaver (Damariscotta, Maine) took the loss for Thomas, making 11 saves on 34 shots. William Oliver (Brunswick, Maine) saw his first action this year, making three saves in 11:12 between the pipes.
