Title: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Coach Staffiere is in his first season on the Terrier Men’s Basketball staff. Staffiere brings 13 years of college basketball experience in both men’s and women’s basketball at the NCAA Division I, II, III levels.

Most recently, Coach Staffiere served as both the interim head men’s basketball coach and assistant coach at nearby Unity College from 2011-2013. Prior to that Staffiere served as the top assistant women’s basketball coach at Colby College. While at Colby in 2010-2011 the program won 22 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round. Working with the team’s post players, he helped develop a All-American Honorable Mention honoree and two New England Small College Athletic Conference All Conference selections.

Staffiere has experience at the Division I level while working with the University of Maine as men’s basketball program as a graduate assistant. There he coordinated travel, prepared advanced opponent scouting reports and assisted in player development with the team’s post players. Staffiere also served three seasons as Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Athletic Department Recruiting Coordinator and adjunct lecturer of Sports Management at Division II Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

A veteran of the summer camp circuit, Staffiere has been a prominent fixture as Station Master at the famous Five Star Basketball Camp Station 13. He has also lectured and taught at the Dean Smith Carolina Basketball School, Jim Boeheim Big Orange Camp, Jim Calhoun UConn boy’s basketball camp, Frank Martin South Carolina boy’s basketball camp, Bob Hurley Sr. Reebok All Star Camp and the Pine Tree Clinic.

In the off season, Staffiere trains current professional basketball players from the National Basketball League of Canada and the Australian Pro Basketball League.
