Gonzalez and Morgan Receive Conference Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced their All-Conference teams and two Terriers received honors.  Senior center Carlos Gonzalez (Kennebunk, Maine) has been named to the All-NAC Second Team while senior forward John Morgan (Sanford, Maine) earned a spot on the Sportsmanship Team.

Throughout the season, Gonzalez averaged 11.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.6 blocks where he led the conference in rebounds and blocks.  Also, in those statistical categories, Gonzalez ranked inside the top-10 in the nation for NCAA Division III.  In his collegiate career, he accumulated 1,146 points, 970 rebounds, and 189 blocks.

Morgan led the Terriers offensively this year with his 13.8 points per game.  He started in all 26 games, averaging 5.6 rebounds and shot 57.4 percent from the field which placed him second in the conference.  Throughout his collegiate career, Morgan recorded 1,209 career points.

The NAC Men's Basketball Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the soccer culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.
