Henniker, N.H. – The Thomas College men's basketball team wrapped up the semester with a 75-67 win over North Atlantic Conference newcomer New England College. Junior Jarrad DeVaughn scored a game high 21 points helping the Terriers pick up their fifth win on the season.
With the win the Terriers improve to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the NAC. With the loss the Pilgrims fall to 2-7 on the season and 2-2 in the NAC.
The Terriers opened with a 9-2 lead after four minutes had come off the clock. They would see their largest lead of 11 points with 3:06 remaining in the first half, and would take the lead into the locker room at 34-28.
Thomas extended its lead to 13 with seven minutes left, and would not give up the lead the rest of the way.
The Terriers will take on Lyndon at home on January 6th after winter break.
