WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College golf team shot a team score of 309 on Day 2 of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship to finish in third place with a total score of 708. The Terriers third place is their best finish in a NAC Championship since 2004.
Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine) held the overall lead early in the day thanks to four birdies on the first five holes and ended up coming in fourth place overall in the tournament. He finished the day even par with a score of 70 for a two-day total of +8 148 and a place on the All-Conference First Team. Kent Johnson (Carmel, Maine) earned an All-Conference Second Team bid, shooting a 75 for a tournament total of 152 to come in a tie for seventh. Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine) recorded a two-day score of 159 after carding an 83 on Sunday, while Caleb Roy (Lyman, Maine) rounded out the scorers with an 87 for a total of 165. Aaron Pion (Waterville, Maine) improved on Saturday's performance, scoring an 81 on the day for a tournament score of 167.
