BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College golf team finished second at the Husson Invitational on Saturday at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. The Terriers compiled a tam score of 322, 18 strokes off of tournament winner Husson.
Kent Johnson (Carmel, Maine) finished tied for third overall, shooting a +4 75 on the day to lead Thomas. Aaron Pion (Waterville, Maine) was next for Thomas, coming in tied for eighth with a +9 80. He was followed by Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine), who was a stroke behind with an 81. Adam Dubail (Gray, Maine) was the final scorer for Thomas, shooting an 86. Nicholas Brewer (Houlton, Maine) made his collegiate debut, shooting an 87 on the day.
Thomas will play in the UMF Invitational on Sunday, September 22 at Waterville Country Club.
