BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College golf team opened their season at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Brunswick Golf Club. The Terriers registered a team score of 677 (+101) to come in 13th of 15 in the two-day tournament.
Kent Johnson (Carmel, Maine) was the low man for Thomas in his collegiate debut. After shooting an 86 on day one, Johnson bounced back to card a 74 on the second day for a tournament score of 160 (+16), good for a share of 20th place. Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine) was next for Thomas in 49th, shooting a +24 168. Caleb Roy (Lyman, Maine) and Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine) were the final two scorers for Thomas, shooting a 173 and 177, respectively. Isaac Salisbury (Freeport, Maine) also competed for Thomas, shooting 183 in the tournament.
The Terriers will host the Thomas Invitational on Tuesday, September 17 at Waterville Country Club.
