GOLF: Terriers Place Eighth at MEIGA Championship

BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College golf team placed 8th at the Maine Intercollegiate Golf Association (MEIGA) Championship, hosted by Husson University at Bangor Municipal Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday. The Terriers shot a team score of 638 (325,313), 64 strokes off the pace of tournament champion Husson.

Caleb Roy (Lyman, Maine; 76,79) and Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine; 83,72) were the low men for Thomas, finishing tied for 25th with a +13 155. Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine; 81,79) and Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine; 85,85) were the other two scorers for Thomas, shooting 160 and 170, respectively. Isaac Salisbury (Freeport, Maine) also competed for Thomas, coming in 51st with a 174 (91,83).
